I’m Suzal. I’m a lead software engineer who works across product code, data, Azure, security, and whatever else it takes to get something into production.

Most of my spare time goes into local AI on an RTX 5090, my Proxmox homelab, and an Arch plus Hyprland desktop I tinker with too much.

how I work

I like knowing how things work.

I prefer open source, self-hosted, and privacy-friendly tools when they make sense. Running my own systems lets me understand more than just the app.

At work, I mostly use Claude. On my own projects, I also use Codex and OpenCode. I keep their access scoped, keep secrets out of prompts, and check what they change before I trust it.
